I don't know anything about controller support for Jedi Academy since I've been playing on mouse and keyboard. Showing 1 - 2 of 2 comments The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
Originally posted by tcrighton95: Recently, as I've been playing Jedi Academy, I have noticed that there has been game lag during gameplay. This is very new, I haven't had this before. I think the problem is that I have a lot of mods, so it is slowing down gameplay. I average about 50-60 fps, but then suddenly, during a lag, it drops to 20-30 fps.

If you manage to open the server list in Multiplayer you should be able to see {JoF}Public Server which is the most popular. You can also connect to the server by bringing the console using SHIFT and TILDE (button
Hi thereːeastereggː I want to play Star Wars Jedi Academy in HD/Fullscreen and followed a lot of tutorials that all told me the same. -Change cfg-files (r_customhight/width ; r_mode "-1" ; cg_fov "95" bla bla bla)- The game starts and runs until I start a match or the storymode When the loadingbar is completed, the game becomes invisible and I see my desktop. The game runs but I cant see it.
Game Crashing. So excited to play this game since not pulling out the GameCube since my childhood. a My game keeps crashing at the beginning, right after you make it into the academy. It crashes every time during the start of the cutscene with Luke giving an introductory speech to the academy. right after Luke and Kyle quibble outside and it
In base Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast and older mods: SHIFT + ~ In base OpenJK, EternalJK, and most modern mods based on OpenJK mods: ~ There is a large number of console commands in Jedi Academy. Entering these commands into normal chat will not work. To be able to make these commands work, you'll need to open the in-game console.
@Yoshirou_Katsura This isn't an issue with full screen or resolution this is an issue with high dpi. To fix this you need to get to your “gamedata” folder in JK2 and JKA you must go to your steam library, right click Jedi outcast or Jedi academy, then click properties (located in the context menu), now click the tab titled “Local Files” and then click the box titled "browse local files
Rinnegatamante would definitely be the best person to take a crack at this one. Jedi Knight II and Jedi Academy both run on id Tech 3 which is the same Engine that Return to Castle Wolfenstein uses which he already ported. Not saying it would be easy but some of Rinnegatamante's work on his RtCW port might be able to be used here.
Seriously though, since Jedi apparently can't walk without rhythm, you need to stay off the sand as much as possible. Use the rocks and wreckage to keep yourself safe as you make your way around the map to collect the parts you need. There are also Thermal Detonators scattered about the map. You can use these in contact-explosion mode
Here are step-by-step instructions on how I enabled dismemberment in Jedi Academy and verified it was actually working. Hopefully it may help some people. I have also tried to explain why so many people are having issues with getting dismemberment to work in the question and answer section. Instructions-----1. Go to your Jedi Academy directory.
Install reshade. Open reshade, select jk2sp.exe. When reshade is install you will find in \steamapps\common\Jedi Outcast\GameData folder his folder reshade-shaders. Put the ReShade_GI_Beta_0.12RC2 folder over him. This will put the RTGI folder into reshade-shaders folder. Now, start the game.
