Upon reaching Skyhold, each one of your party members will unlock a specialization unique to that companion. The player however, will be able to complete a Mission at the War Table to summon
OP • 8 yr. ago. Thank you, I think I know my decision now. (: 1. [deleted] • 8 yr. ago. For a Double Dagger Rogue, the best specialization is Tempest and for an Archer Rogue, the best specialization is Artificer. Assassin is primarily about increasing your damage which is boring IMO. 0.
Technically you get barrier for attacking. Still strong, but it does decay over time, unlike guard. Granted, you can also make a masterwork weapon or armor with guard on hit to get barrier and guard when attacking. Then you really are invincible.

Creating a single element mage can get you screwed, for example, because in Nightmare most enemies have an immunity to one element. Nightmare is basically a test about how well you've learned various game mechanics like barriers, guard, HP recovery skills, crowd control/combos, enemy weaknesses, item/elixir use, and crafting (though contrary to
I have a quest named "Specializations for the Inquisitor", It tells me to seek a combat trainer at the war table. I've tried entering the war room and clicking inquisition perks, then upgrading "forced" for soldier training, but that is not it.
